It’s Valentine’s Day. A time to show those you love that you care about them. Some choose to celebrate the day while others don’t. Perhaps today you are feeling lonely or things haven’t worked out in your life the way you had hoped. You miss having someone special. Take hope in that you have a Heavenly Father who loves you dearly.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. (1 John 4:7-9 NIV)

But whoever loves God is known by God. (1 Corinthians 8:3 NIV)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (1John 4:10 NIV)

May you experience God’s love in a special way today. Know that He loves you and desires for you to come to Him. Happy Valentine’s Day!
